This week was a quite week as our main focus was to continue creating and writing our product. So lets begin with this weeks tasks…….

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 12: Complete First Draft

This week we were just sent our welcome letter and our checklist of tasks to do for the week. No videos! Yippy!

Week 12 Summary

Basically our major task this week was to continue on with writing and completing the first draft or our ebook. It doesn’t matter about adding images or anything else at this stage, it is more about getting the majority of the content completed.

Sometimes the best ways to get content written up quickly is to write as you think. Don’t worry if there are spelling mistakes or the grammar isn’t that good. Spelling and grammar can always be corrected in the next draft. The first draft is all about the content and getting everything written down that you think you want to include in the book.

So continuing on with my internet business training studies of how to create a business online we have now officially begun our product writing process.

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 11: Begin Product Creation

As usual we were sent our welcome letter, our checklist and we only had 2 videos to download to watch and learn from. This week was all about beginning the product creation and officially start our writing process. Whether we are using private label or ‘Elance’ content or if we are writing from scratch ourselves, John has allowed and anticipated that we will spend a good 2-4 weeks actually writing our product.

Video 1: Begin Writing Ebook

In this video John talks about beginning to write our product using the ebook structure we developed in Week 10. He recommends to write one chapter at a time and rest and then go from there. How we write the ebook is really up to us, just as long as we actually start the process and write!

I am being very clever at the moment. I am pre-writing these posts a couple of days before actually posting them. I thought I would learn how to use the scheduling feature in my dashboard, so instead of saving the posts to draft and then uploading them, I am actually scheduling the post to upload in a couple of days of writing. As I write this it is the 18th of November. I think I will schedule the post to upload the 22nd of November. (I just thought that I would share that I am learning a new thing! )

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 10: Initial Product Creation

This week was all about beginning the actual product creation process. We were sent 3 Audio files and 5 Videos to download and listen to plus our usual checklist of tasks to do.

Instead of sending our welcome letter in pdf form, John sent us some audio files to show us the different types of products we can create such as a ‘pdf’ document, audio and video like the ones we watch and read for our training.

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 9: Niche Selection Continued…..

This week we actually got to relax a little, well sort of! Due to some of the responses in the forum from some fellow students having struggles with choosing their niche, John decided to give us an extra week for research.

We were only sent one video to download this week, as well as our usual welcome letter and we only had a small list of tasks to do on our checklist.

In this video John talks about the possibilities of struggling in deciding on a niche to enter into. Some of us may have problems and are confused as to what to do. For example; the niche that we are knowledgeable in may not be classed as a hungry market. (Like me and spray tanning! )

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 8: Initial Niche Selection

This week is all about selecting our niche, we were sent 6 videos to watch and our usual welcome letter and checklist of tasks to do.

Video 1: Introduction To Niche Selection

According to John, choosing a niche is not as hard or as confusing as we may think. Just because a particular keyword is being highly used does not necessarily mean people are spending money with in that subject matter.

What is a niche? I have been talking about “niche” so I thought I had better explain. A niche is a topic or also considered a micro market. For example in my case “Beauty” is the market, “Beauty Treatment” is the niche, and “Spray Tanning” is the micro niche. That is about as simple as I can explain it!
