Are You Ready For The Challenge?
Hello all,
Just thought I would write a very quick post to remind you that the 30 Day Challenge is about to kick off the 1st of July 2010.
I have done the 30 Day challenge the last 2 years and I would have to say it is………..
‘THE BEST FREE TRAINING” out there!
Every year the challenge is run by Ed Dale and Dan Raine along with their team of helpers.
The idea of the ‘Thirty Day Challenge’ is to teach us how to make $1 online in 30 days. This online business training program has been running for the last 5 years. I think this is its 6th year although don’t quote me on that!
For the last 5 years they have had pre-season operate from June/July and then the challenge has been officially on from the 1st-31st of August. This year they are running it differently, they are teaching 7 days on and then 7 days off.
The teaching is absolutely amazing and well worth doing. They teach you the basics of:
- Establishing a blog
- Researching your niche
- How to do keyword research
- Finding your target audience
- Finding appropriate affiliate products
- How to create adverts
- How to write articles
- How to generate traffic
- How to use Web 2.0 to your best advantage
- How to do social bookmarking
- How to create mini products to generate traffic
- How to earn money from your website
- How to automate things
- How to use pay per click
- How to use Youtube, Twitter, Facebook to a business advantage
- How to do basic search engine optimisation
- and so so so much more
This list I just created just touches the iceberg of what they jam pack and teach over the challenge period.
The crazy thing about this internet marketing training is that it is FREE. Yes you read correct FREE.
The quality of the training is what people pay thousands of dollars for and yet these guys will teach you once a year for FREE.
This is Ed and Dan’s way of giving back or paying it forward, however you want to look at it.
There is an amazing group of people that do the challenge, last year they had over 130,000 signed up!!! There is a forum you can join, they have a tv show once a week (well they did last year). Everything they teach is downloadable so if you want to watch stuff in your own time you can. They offer the teachings in all formats, podcasts, videos, pdf’s etc etc etc.
This stuff is gold I can not ramble on about it enough!
OK so the reason why I am telling you about the challenge is to let you know I am going to take part in the challenge again and would absolutely love it if some of you join me!
Ed encourages us to learn and do the challenge in groups and teams.
So are you going to do the challenge with me?
Here is the link to the new website for you to sign up and have a read.
The Challenge
Here is a link to the most recent blog post that Ed wrote about this years training. It will run over 14 weeks in total with 49 days of training.
About The Challenge
I do hope you come along and join me for ‘The Challenge” ride!! ![]()

Thank you for popping by!
You will love the training! The guys are awesome and their training is very easy to understand and step by step. Every time I do the challenge I learn more and more.
The information you learn from the challenge will really help with what you are doing with John’s training.
I am hoping for a big group of us to go through the training together!
Hope all is great. See you on your blog soon!

Hi Mick,
Oh Gee Shucks, you’re making me blush!
I am sure there will be a heap of gold nuggets this year, plus I love the new format. I actually have a chance of completing the challenge this year. The last 2 years I have completed the learning but not in the challenge time frame, so hopefully this year will be a little different.
Plus I have a little more knowledge so should be able to find it easy and enjoyable to get through. I love the fact that Ed does this every year. It is ‘Awesome’ as he says!
See you in there! It looks like there will be a few familiar faces giving it a go this year!
See you on your blog soon!
Cheers

Hey Jacinta!
I’ve often heard mention if the 30 day challenge and not known the full scoop so thanks for sharing here!
What an awesome thing it is that Ed and Dan do!
Being honest my ‘to do’ list is pretty crammed (and having to squeeze all the wedding planning stuff in there too!) so think it’s going to be taking on too much to get involved… this time around
Hope all is going good with you!

Hi Rob,
Thank you for popping by!
The thirty day challenge is awesome! And the next best thing about it other than the fact that it is FREE. Once the training is completed Ed actually leaves the training accessible until the next challenge!!
If you haven’t got the chance to do the training now, you should have access to the training until around June next year. That is what they have done for the last few years.
I can so relate the the to do list being crammed!
I have a notebook of my lists and have about 5 pages worth!
One day and one task at a time is my motto!
Congrats on the wedding planning. I am sure you will have an awesome time!
See you on your blog soon!
Cheers

Hi Rob,
No Worries on the info!!
I am going to try and write about the challenge as much as I can in the coming months so if you don’t have time to do the challenge right now as such you can read my posts and then only do the training you need to do.
Some of the stuff they cover you will probably already know such as twitter, facebook, creating a blog etc etc, however they also teach other cool stuff, like last year I learned all about the importance of tagging and understanding tagging, plus tonnes more little pieces of info like that.
It is the little gold nuggets I look out for!!
Just got to hurry up and complete JT’s training posts so I can start the challenge with a clean plate!
No worries on the comment, your video was really cool, plus I like how you do your picture collages, they look awesome!
See you on your blog soon!
Cheers

Hi Jacinta,
Thanks for posting about this. I checked out the link and I couldn’t do anything but sign up.
I don’t really have any time to spare but half an hour a day is manageable I think.
While I don’t want to be a perpetual student, we really are that anyway if we want to move forward.
There are a lot of new things compared to the past in this Challenge according to Ed.
I’ve never taken part in it so now it seems to be the best time to take it up.

Hi Vance,
Thank you for popping by!
Awesome on you signing up for the challenge! You will enjoy it and you will learn a heap.
Some of the stuff you will already know, however every year I have followed along with the training and learned something new every time! It is well worth doing.
The new format is excellent with the 7 days on and 7 days off. I am really looking forward to working through the challenge and applying what I learn to my websites.
Sounds like we are going to have a great group of us doing the challenge together!
See you on your blog soon!
Cheers

OK Jacinta, I’ll join your group and maybe finish the course this time.
I started the 30 Day Challenge last year, but gave up half way through. I like their new 7 day on, 7 day off format; that gives you a chance to catch up. …Got to go now and sign up.

Hi John,
Don’t worry about finishing the course last year. I haven’t finished it in time the last 2 years!
What I did get out of it was the teachings and the gold nuggets. My intention is to use what we learn from the 30dc and apply it to our own websites that we currently have.
I love the new format as well. I think a lot more people will have the chance to complete the challenge this time around.
Will see you in the challenge! Pre season starts tomorrow!!
OK that gives me a week to finish Jt’s stuff before writing about 30dc. Oh bugger, now I really have a lot to do!!
See you on your blog soon!
Cheers
