Yes I know………..

It has been a very very long time in-between drinks……. Ooops I meant blog posts! lol

How has everyone been?

Awesome I hope……………

I can’t believe it is 2012 already.

Where did 2011 go!!!

Actually to be completely honest with you, I am kinda glad that the year is over.

It was a tough year personally for me and I came very close to giving up on everything all together.

However being the determined little turtle I am, giving up is not an option.

Instead I have just taken a step back (actually more like 10 steps! lol) over the last few months and re-evaluated everything.

Plus my little one has been pretty much home with me full-time since August (her part time day carer had a baby! ) so my time online has been limited.

I mean REALLY limited!

There have been some weeks over the last 5 months where I was lucky to get online at all!

I will be straight up here…….

If you are a mummy with toddlers and husband (Yes! Hubbys take up time too!) it can sometimes be near impossible to get online and get study done!

By the time everyone is asleep I want to sleep myself!!

Yes there have been days when I have tried to get online when they are home and truthfully it does not work!!

My little one just does not understand the concept of “Mummy has to do some study” and looks at me every 5 minutes wanting to play or show me something or go somewhere!

(lol hubby has been similar! )

I soon realised that I wasn’t going to get anything major done until this year starting in February when my little one goes to kndergarten/pre-school.

So instead of stressing about it I decided to come up with a 12-18 month business/study plan knowing my limitations. I did this back in September after I watched an awesome workshop.

(I will talk more about this workshop in another post in time, it is well worth watching if you have the time. )

For the last couple of months I have been quietly working on some of the foundations for my plan.

One task and one day at a time!

2012 is going to be a year of growth, of new beginnings and of change for me………

I am finally up to date with collating all the products I have on my hard drive (yes there were thousands) all into their niches, years and licenses.

This took me hours and hours and hours.

So very soon I will be putting together some fantastic private and master resell rights packages together for offer.

I will be completely revamping my subscriber membership with lots of regular giveaways, plus I will be creating a very special exclusive membership site for you with lots and lots of free training I have sourced for you.

To those of you on my lists, I just want to say thank you for being loyal and patient with me, you will be receiving notice of the changes soon plus the regular freebies will be beginning very soon too!

I plan on focusing a lot of my efforts on getting to know my subscribers more as well as building my lists more. (This is my main focus for 2012)

And then by the end of the year I plan to get really stuck into my own product creation ready to launch some offline training in 2013. (This is the carrot goal! lol)

I will be continuing to write here on my blog, however to be completely fair to myself and to you, I only expect to write once to twice a month.

I have a lot to get done and only very limited time to do it in.

Plus this year is the last year my little one is home with me before she heads off to the big wide world of school.

I do plan on reviewing a few products I have bought so I will let you know about those in time, plus I will let you know who I am learning from and why.

This year is all about executing my plan as best as I can, plus being a mummy & wife too!!

So there you have it!

Hello All,

OMG I feel like I am constantly apologising for my blogging tardiness at the moment.

Yes! Once a gain it has been another month in between communication. I am a shocker!!

Blame it on the school holidays!!

Actually to be perfectly honest with you, life has been a little bit of a roller coaster lately and I have been quite ill and had to go into hibernation for a while due to a personal tragedy.

I have been wrestling with myself on whether to tell you what has happened but as loyal readers that have known me for a long time I wasn’t quite sure what to do.

At first I thought NO! Tis too personal.

However after being told of the national statistics which have left me a little shocked I have decided to share, plus to show there is a light at the end of the tunnel and life can move forward no matter how tough it can get.

You just have to have a little faith, strength, love and belief…..

In my last blog post I teased you with the fact that I had some awesome news and at the time……YES I did!

I had discovered I was pregnant…..

But before you get excited for me, I now must share some sad news too and let you know that the little bubba was not meant to be and I recently suffered from a miss carriage and ended up in hospital.

I went through all the emotions you can think of………

Shock, Sadness, Anger, Grief and more….

There were days when I didn’t want to get out of bed or even look at the computer……

Yes I have had family and friends offline to help me through and I thank them for this and they know who they are, however I would like to say thank you to 2 special online ladies who knew of my tragedy.

Miss Sally Neill & Miss Dawn Kay for encouraging me to come out of hibernation…

A few weeks ago before I got sick Dawn sent me an email asking me to answer the question “If I had to start all over again what would I do differently and why?”

At the time I emailed back saying “Sure, OK” but then I got sick a few days later……

Last week I finally plucked up the courage to email Dawn and let her know I hadn’t forgotten and to let her know why….. (I hate letting people down when I have agreed to do something)

To be honest with you I was actually seriously thinking of giving up with my online journey all together!

And at the same time as Dawn was answering me, Sally was sending her little encouraging messages too……

Yesterday I woke up and realised it was time to come out of hibernation…

The good times and bad times are all part of our life journey and help to create us to be who we are………..

And I wasn’t doing me or anyone else any justice….

Was I going to let my little girl down? NO!

Was I going to let my readers down who have stayed with me and shared my online journey with too? NO!

Speaking of which thank you for the gentle reminders from some of you to hurry up and write a blog post!

Was I going to let the last 3 years of slowly learning and studying how to create a business online part time waste away? NO!

So yesterday I sat my butt down and wrote my answer for Dawn, nearly 2000 words worth!! So keep your eye out on Dawn’s blog for when she shares it with you in the next few weeks time.

If you are on my subscriber list I will let you know when it is coming up, plus I will be recording an audio version of my answer if you want to have a listen too! I have revealed some gold nuggets that I wish someone had of told me 3 years ago!!

And then last night I got to have a good ‘ol’ yarn with Miss Sally. I am so excited for her.

She is currently working hard on getting ready to launch her own coaching program very soon and trust me you will want to be on it.

Sally is an awesome down to earth teacher and definitely one of the rising stars of the online training world.

Chatting to Sally last night inspired me even more to come out of hibernation and to not give up on my dreams.

A miss carriage is a terrible experience for any woman to go through and here in Australia I was told the statistics are 1 in 3 pregnancies miss carry.

These statistics flawed me and showed me that this is a common occurrence even though it is tragic for those it occurs to. It is just not one that is often shared or talked about so most people don’t realise it is as common as it is.

Maybe I have been too personal sharing my tragedy with you, but to tell you the truth I believe it is an important part of my healing process to help me move forward quickly…..

I have a 4 year old daughter who keeps me accountable and gives me loves and kisses and cuddles every day plus I am forever laughing at her antics and actions, she is a budding comedian and loves to make people laugh. She had the nurses in stitches at the hospital when my family came to pick me up!! And all I could do was laugh through my tears!!

So YES! Out of tragedy, flowers can bloom and I am coming out of hibernation and am happy and well…..

SO what am I going to do now you may be thinking??

Well in my next blog post I WILL be writing about the Raymond Aaron seminar. I PROMISE!!!!!!!

Hello All,

Yes I know……

It has been over a month since I last posted and I do apologise for the tardiness!

May was a little bit of a bitter sweet month for me offline in life.

I had some good news and some sad too!

My little cat Missy got very sick, she had a stroke and lost all movement in her back legs. After 2 days of testing and in intensive care at the vets to discover there were more blood clots and she was in incredible pain, we had to make the agonising decision to euthanize and she died.

She was only 5 years old and I miss her terribly.

She was our little hunter! I was forever finding birds and mice at my doorstep every day.

She was very skitty and tiny, we could hardly catch her at times. Most people who met her thought she was still a kitten.

She used to find the smallest hiding places. There were times when I had no idea where she was and yet I would hear her little meow and it would take me ages to try and find her.

It was like she was wild and yet chose to live with us.

However she was also my office companion. I didn’t realise until after she passed how much she used to keep me company in my office when I was at the computer.

She used to sit at the window and had a rug on the floor, not only that she used try and push me off my chair at night when she had decided it was time for me to go to bed.

She was a little talker who used to love having a chat.

She hated being picked up during the day, yet late at night she used to smooch and purr at my legs when she wanted a scratch.

Nearly every night she used to try and hog the bed. I don’t know how many times we would be on one half of the bed and Missy would have a whole half to herself.

Her death affected me for quite a few weeks, I actually found it hard coming into the office.

But now she is in here with me all the time. I had her ashes cremated and she is in an urn beside the window. So she is back keeping me company even if it is in spirit.

After Missy’s death I have had some awesome news that I just can’t quite share with you yet so I will just have to keep teasing you with this one!

Plus I went to an amazing seminar run by Raymond Aaron.

It was 2 days of pure content.

There were only 20 people in the room and it was one of the BEST seminars I have ever been too and believe me I have been to a few!

In my next post I am going to summarise Raymond’s Seminar.

I learned so much my head was spinning and the information is pure gold that I want to share it with you.

Fingers crossed I will have part 1 of the seminar notes written up for you by next week.

However until then I thought I might just leave this post dedicated to my little “Missy Moo”.

Yes I know………..

Once again it has been another month in between blog posts.

I have been working really hard I promise I have.

I have gone a little underground working on my spray tanning niche, I will let you know more about that in my next blog post!

However today I thought I would share with you something special. I was doing a little search the other day, you know when you are curious on what is online about you??

Yes you read right.

And Oooohhhhhhhhhh How embarrassing……….

They have been put up by an old friend of mine She D’Montford. I had absolutely no idea!

So instead of shying away I have decided to give you all a classic laugh at me!

OMG I feel ancient now. @13-14 years ago!

Hello All,

Yes I know another month has gone and I am finally writing a new blog post!

Aaahhhhhhhhhhhaaa

“But teacher I have a really good excuse!”

“I do really I do!”

My bubba had to have her tonsils out the first week of March, poor little thing.

To tell you the truth, the experience was not easy. We were only in hospital for 24 hours and then I had to care for her.

Gone are the days of long hospital stays!

It took about 3 weeks for her to recover properly.

Then I had my mumma visit for a week from interstate.

(My mumma lives about 2,000km away, we see her @twice a year. )

However, I have managed to sneak away for a few hours here and there and have been working on my niche website www.spraytanningtips.com.

If you head on over there you will see I have monetized it to the hilt!

Hahahahahahaha

Plus I did finish going through ‘The Challenge” training and I do plan for my next blog post to be a summary & review of what I have learned.

OK so now lets get to the point of my title………………

I have decided to put myself out there for a very short time……..

So let me explain……..

Last Sunday Lee Scott sent me a message via my blog asking about how to do something with his site that I have done with mine.

At first I thought…………

“Ok I will try and explain in email”

But then I had an “AaHa” moment…………

I have been avoiding learning how to do “Camtasia Videos” for a long time and would you believe I have had the software for @4 months and have been avoiding using it.

Well what better way to learn…..

Than to throw myself in the deep end and answer Lee’s question by creating a step by step tutorial for him using Camtasia.

(This little bimbo is learning! hehehehehe )

I sat down and made the videos Monday night. First I made a big long one that went for over 30 mins & then I decided to break the process down into step by step tutorial videos instead. 13 of them!

Took me a little while, but I knew I was learning at the same time.

I listened to them Tuesday and learned that my mic was way to low, in some of them it is hard to hear me. I also learned I say “um, ar, so, actually & and” a lot.

Plus my S’s sound like snakes.

(Not sure how to improve that. )

However the point is. I took the bull by the horns so to speak, broke through a fear and pushed myself forward.

The videos were just for Lee so I knew I wouldn’t have to be too embarrassed about other people seeing them and to tell you the truth I have no intention of showing anyone these videos.

(I did ask Sally to watch them as I know she will kick my butt if I sounded crap! )

So now to my heading…..

“Help Me Help You”

I have decided for a short time only and for a very select few. Yes this is a first in first served process and I am only limiting myself to 6 people.

Ask me a question and I will respond with a Camtasia tutorial!

This is me helping you by answering a question of showing you how to do something.

And this is you helping me, by me learning how to create Camtasia Videos for you!

Hello All,

Yes I know it has been a month since I wrote last!

Although in my last post I did mention I was getting ready for a month of party!

And party I did.

I am still trying to find stuff after my birthday party.

Christmas was awesome. My little one had a ball and loved opening all the presents. She thought Santa was the best.

We had a week of functions so by the time it was new years I was a little exhausted. However that didn’t last long as I then had a 40th to prepare for!

I celebrated my 40th on the 15th of January. OMG I am 40.

At first I thought I might get a little depressive on the realisation that I have turned 40. However to tell you the truth I have cherished it.

I spent time with some friends I haven’t seen in over 20 years and I really feel like I have traveled a bit of a circle in my life.

It is funny how people can come in and out of your life and end up back in it again.  (Although I think Facebook has helped in that department! )

Having a bbq for my birthday was a great start to my new year and what is more to my new decade. I have made myself a motto that I am determined to stick to and I would like to share it with you.

It is my decade of F words!

My Motto For My 40′s!

• To cherish my Family !
• To spend time with good Friends! (Have started that one at the party!)
• To feel Fabulous! (A laugh a day works wonders!)
• To try and get Fit! ( I have said try! I have even moved the cross-trainer from the shed into the house! Haven’t gotten on it yet! )
• To try and look Fantastic! lol (I need a new wardrobe! I still have clothes in my closet from my 20′s. Time to update!)
• To become Financially Free! (This is where all the learning I have done the last few years will come into its own. It is time to turn this hobby into a business! )
• And most of all have Fun! (I have promised myself that it is time to really enjoy myself and focus on the simple things in life that will often give us the most pleasure! We have to love what we are doing! That is what makes it all Fun!)

So what do you think of my motto?

I have a list of goals I have written as well. This year I have created some more personal goals as well as business and entrepreneurial which I would like to share with you also.

I guess this is my way of making myself accountable.

So here we go……….

My Goals For 2011!

Study/Business Goals:

1: To go through all the training programs, ebooks, videos etc I have on my hard drive that I have bought over the last 3 years and haven’t opened yet! (Yes I was an internet marketers dream for a while!)

2: To learn how to use Camtasia Studio and Sony Movie Vegas software. (It is time to learn how to create some products!)

3: To give my blog a bit of a revamp! (I might change the graphics and layout a little, I am not sure yet. Re arrange the categories, add in my newsletter etc etc)

4: To commit to writing my newsletter to my subscribers every 2 weeks. (I did start this process last October/November. I was writing every week, however to be honest I actually found that hard around my little one so I think it will be easier to write once a fortnight.)

5: To continue my blogging series. (Last year I slowly introduced different post themes to my blog. My personal training series on the courses & products I review and go through.

My motivational video series where I find inspirational videos that I want to share with you. My internet marketers series where I write about what I have learned from different internet marketers from going to seminars or listening to audio interviews etc etc

And finally I am going to introduce a learning series where I will be attempting to teach you tips & tricks that I have learned along the way. This is where learning Camtasia will kick in! )

6: To start creating my new product series. (I want to focus on list building and product creation this year so I have a few ideas of some online business products I want to create.)

7: To start doing some joint ventures and creating some products with other people. (I want to start doing some joint venture products with a few people both in the internet marketing and online business world as well as working with people offline to bring their niche knowledge online.)

8: To fully complete my Spray Tanning Niche Product. (I have a few bonuses I want to add to the training program, plus a training video and I want to create a directory site for spray tanners.)

9: To create a new product in teaching Artificial Nails. (It is about time I use my teaching skills, considering I was a Nails educator at a beauty school before I had my bubba!)

10: To categorise all of my resell rights products, master resell rights products and private label rights products. (This is so I can set up some sales on ebay or organise bonus products, or giveaways for list building etc etc)

Personal/Lifestyle Goals:

1: To sell at least 5 items a week on ebay. (This is more of a personal goal. I have 2 sheds I am determined to go through and either sell stuff, throw out stuff or give it away. I am eliminating clutter! )

2: To pay off my credit card by Christmas 2011.

3: To start researching my daughters family history. (I want to create a book for my little one of her family history and go back as far as I can. I have researched my side many years ago, however there isn’t much information on her daddy’s side.)

4: To create some photo albums for my daughter. (With the digital age I have all of my photos on computer. My little one loves looking at pictures so I have decided to create her some albums.)

5: To get the attachments for my dremel drill so I can start making the crystal charm bracelets I have been wanting to make for years! (I used to love making crafts, and years ago I used to make crystal necklaces. I have had some ideas for charm bracelets and it is about time I start making them!)

6: To stick to my 40′s motto!


OK so there you have it!

My main plans for 2011. (I do have lots of other little goals that branch out from the big goals, more like tasks to achieve. If write all those down here as well I will never get this post out! )

I am looking forward to this year.

I feel like a have a new lease on life.

Now it is time to get back to the learning and building a business process and to start implementing my business plan!
