Introducing ‘Will’s Wisdom’.

A collection of clips made by a guy on ‘YouTube’ called ‘The Mind Guy’.

I really like Will Smith as an actor and as a person. His dedication to his life and his family is absolutely amazing and inspiring.

One of my favourite movies of all time is ‘The Pursuit of Happiness’. That movie is an inspiration in itself!

Every time I watch this video clip of ‘Will’s Wisdom’, I am inspired to do better.

I am inspired to be a better example for my daughter and what’s more is that I am inspired to actually enjoy my life. To see the positive and to look for the positive instead of thinking about the negative.

I won’t ramble on anymore other than to tell you to enjoy and let me know what you think.

Welcome to Post number 2 of “My Motivational Series!”

The last couple of days I have been searching through a collection of videos to pick which one I wanted to show you today. I was going to look for some goal setting ones, however for some reason I was drawn to share a video created about ‘Nick Vujicic’.

Some of you may have already seen similar videos about Nick, but for those of you who haven’t this guy is absolutely amazing. Just watching him puts my life into perspective and humbles me every time.

I can’t watch any video of him with out being moved emotionally to the core.

I end up crying every time, and then having a wave of warmth come over me, and all I want to do is cuddle my little one and not let go!

There are a lot of videos out there about Nick. However after sorting through about a dozen of them, I had trouble picking between 2,  so I have decided to share both of the ones I like for different reasons.

For those of you that don’t have a lot of time video 1 is perfect for you. It goes for about @4 minutes.

For those of you who have a couple of extra minutes then the second video is well worth watching. This video goes for about @8 minutes. The reason I love this video is the captions that ‘Daily Motivation’ have included. They get you thinking!!!!

Welcome to my new series of posts!

Introducing…………..drum roll please

“My Motivational Series”

As you may already know for the last 9 months I have been concentrating on writing about my training and experience with John Thornhill’s Internet Marketing Master Class Training and a few other topics here an there.

I have also talked about doing a series of posts on the different internet marketers I have seen speak over the last couple of years as well which I intend to start very soon………

Well let me side track a little, the other day while having a shower (yes this may sound a little intimate ) I had a small brain wave (I get my best ideas when I am having a wash, a bit strange yes I know. ).

Over the last 15 years of my life since I first started my self development process I have been influenced by many different mentors such as Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Christopher Howard, Cheryl Richardson, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, etc etc. I am sure there are many more if I really think about it, but these are my main ones.

Anyway what I have decided to do is to search “You Tube” and find videos I like that I have been influenced by in both my personal and business growth and share them with you!

My intention is to try and do a ‘Motivational Post” once a week, however bear with me on that one! (I am still trying to better time manage myself. I am a work in progress! )

So here we go.

My first mentor I would like to introduce to you is Karl Moore. I have written about him before back in August last year when I was doing the 30 Day Challenge Program. (This years challenge is starting the first week of July and I will be attempting it again! Sometimes I think I am a little nuts! )

Cut a long story short! Karl created some videos to help inspire us through the whole process. I found his series of posts to be very inspirational, questioning, thought provoking as well as timely.

I like Karl’s simple approach to things so I have selected a video he did a while ago on the “Law of Attraction”. I am a big believer in the law of attraction which is another way of discussing the laws of karma. The video only goes for @3 minutes.

Hello All,

This is just a quick post to inform you of an up coming seminar that is happening on the 11th-13th of September here in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

The seminar is called Dream Life 2009. It is run by Brett McFall and Tom Hua, the guys behind the World Internet Summit seminars.

There are 11 speakers that are going to be there and there are only 300 tickets available. The cost is $97AUD however, all the proceeds are going to charity.

I have booked my ticket…..are you going to be there????

I have been to a couple of these types of seminars over the last 12 months. I went to Brett McFall’s seminar “How To Make Money While You Sleep” last June 2008 (this seminar was intimate and only had about 300 people) and I went to the World Internet Summit in March earlier this year 2009 (this seminar had over 2,000 people there).

Both seminars were awesome, they gave away a load of free information and they are really targeted for the newbie in mind. I do highly recommend going to these types of seminars if you can.

Yes we can learn by correspondence and yes we can learn by reading and watching videos, but if you have the chance to actually hear people speak in person and show you how to’s on the big screens this can be really inspiring and motivating for you to achieve more.

The last seminar I went to I actually had to travel interstate for it so I am very lucky this time as it is in my home town. I am really looking forward to going. I find that going to seminars helps cement what I am learning in my mind, plus I like meeting new people and being around like minded people with the same goal in mind.

I will be honest with you. If you have never been to this type of seminar you need to be aware that the speakers will be promoting some type of coaching program for you to join if you choose at the end of their presentations. However you also need to be aware that most of these speakers pay their own way to present at one of these seminars, they are not paid to be there. Also their presentations are very informative and very educational even if you do not sign up to any further coaching programs.

I have learnt so much from these seminars just from going to the weekend events and not even buying any further training. They give out heaps and heaps of free info and advice that people would normally pay thousands for.

If you are in Melbourne then you should really come to the seminar. Here is a link to check it out and remember there are only 300 tickets, it will be an intimate seminar.

I like the intimate style seminar as you actually have more of a chance to communicate with the speakers on a one on one level as well as ask more questions and get more answers.
