Help Me Help You!
Hello All,
Yes I know another month has gone and I am finally writing a new blog post!
Aaahhhhhhhhhhhaaa 
“But teacher I have a really good excuse!”
“I do really I do!”
My bubba had to have her tonsils out the first week of March, poor little thing. 
To tell you the truth, the experience was not easy. We were only in hospital for 24 hours and then I had to care for her.
Gone are the days of long hospital stays!
It took about 3 weeks for her to recover properly.
Then I had my mumma visit for a week from interstate.
(My mumma lives about 2,000km away, we see her @twice a year. 
)
However, I have managed to sneak away for a few hours here and there and have been working on my niche website www.spraytanningtips.com.
If you head on over there you will see I have monetized it to the hilt!
Hahahahahahaha 
Plus I did finish going through ‘The Challenge” training and I do plan for my next blog post to be a summary & review of what I have learned.
OK so now lets get to the point of my title………………
I have decided to put myself out there for a very short time……..
So let me explain……..
Last Sunday Lee Scott sent me a message via my blog asking about how to do something with his site that I have done with mine.
At first I thought…………
“Ok I will try and explain in email”
But then I had an “AaHa” moment…………
I have been avoiding learning how to do “Camtasia Videos” for a long time and would you believe I have had the software for @4 months and have been avoiding using it.
Well what better way to learn…..
Than to throw myself in the deep end and answer Lee’s question by creating a step by step tutorial for him using Camtasia.
(This little bimbo is learning! hehehehehe )
I sat down and made the videos Monday night. First I made a big long one that went for over 30 mins & then I decided to break the process down into step by step tutorial videos instead. 13 of them!
Took me a little while, but I knew I was learning at the same time.
I listened to them Tuesday and learned that my mic was way to low, in some of them it is hard to hear me. I also learned I say “um, ar, so, actually & and” a lot.
Plus my S’s sound like snakes.
(Not sure how to improve that. )
However the point is. I took the bull by the horns so to speak, broke through a fear and pushed myself forward.
The videos were just for Lee so I knew I wouldn’t have to be too embarrassed about other people seeing them and to tell you the truth I have no intention of showing anyone these videos.
(I did ask Sally to watch them as I know she will kick my butt if I sounded crap! )
So now to my heading…..
“Help Me Help You”
I have decided for a short time only and for a very select few. Yes this is a first in first served process and I am only limiting myself to 6 people.
Ask me a question and I will respond with a Camtasia tutorial!
This is me helping you by answering a question of showing you how to do something.
And this is you helping me, by me learning how to create Camtasia Videos for you!

Here Are The Conditions:
Your question needs to be something that I can teach you fairly quickly such as “installing a plugin” or “explaining how to use a website or feature” etc.
(This is just to give you ideas of what to ask.)
Something not too complicated.
Yes I still call myself bimbo! hehehe
Actually I will always call myself bimbo “A Beginner Internet Marketer Business Opportunity Seeker!” hehehe 
If you want to take me up on my offer, either email me or send me a message via my contact page “Got A Question” and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Oh and please don’t expect them over night!
Please allow me @2 weeks to deliver as I am doing this around bubba and other activities. 
Like I said earlier I am limiting this to 6 people, so this is a first in first serve, plus I also need to know how to do what you ask me.
If I don’t know I will let you know.
The other condition is that these videos are being made for you personally!
They will not be used as content for my blog, or be sold or anything like that and nor do I want them used by you as content for your sites or to be sold etc.
These videos are for me to help you, which in turn you are helping me learn Camtasia.
As part of my creating these videos for you. I would also appreciate your feedback on the videos of my teaching style and how I can improve.

I hope bubba is getting back to normal now and is better. Sorry to know she had to go through that.
Very good on seeing your Mum, you only have one you know.
I really can’t think of anything I would need a video for at this time but I do think what you are doing is a great idea.

I probably only need a couple of people to take me up on the idea to learn more.
I have learned if I make myself accountable to people I tend to get things done!

Hi Jacinta,
Can you show me how to upload a free monthly website to a main domain and then a sub folder?
Also try using your MIC above your nose a little away from or directly in from of your mouth. Also check the mic settings to see if your mic is listed. I use a Microsoft Life Chat which is quite good.
Also try sitting with your back straight or even stand up, it helps you breath better. Also drink water before and during the video.

Cool tips I will give them a go. I had the mic positioned next to my mouth just out from my chin, hence the breathing sound. Oops!
& Back straight & Stand up.
OK Back straight I can give a go. I am bad for slouching so good tip. Good for the posture too!
Stand up is a hard one. I like to walk and talk so I will probably find my head being yanked every now and again back to the desk!
Cool video question. I will be learning a new thing at the same time. (I haven’t uploaded a free monthly website yet!
)
Like I said give me @ 2 weeks and I will have them done ready for you to critique!
And yes good idea on the promo op. Never thought of that. Bimbo brain at it again!

Hope Bubba is on the mend and she’s feeling better soon.
It’s so hard to look after poorly kids and to try and get things done online too so well done you for getting back on track.
It looks like we share the same fear and we are facing up to it at the same time so I’m wondering if a certain person kicked us both up the backside and made us face them (lol).
Your offer of free videos is a really good idea and I’m sure you will get a lot of feedback from them to help you get even better.
Your spray tanning tips website looks good.
I guess you didn’t fancy using your own body in the header then (lol).

hahahahahahaha. No! Was not using my post-baby body on the header!
However my pre-baby body was used in the actual manual pictures where I show step by step how to spray tan!
I wish I was back on track. Just when I thought I was back in routine I just found out my day carer for Taya is ending care as she got a new full time job.
Happy for her and what she is doing but bugga for me because now I have to find a new day carer.
Looks like it will be insomnia nights again to get things done.
This is where it is hard creating a business online around our kids! You never know what is going to happen one day from the next!
Yes on facing the fear. I am a procrastinator through and through. The only down fall with that, is that I am stopping myself from moving forward.
Can’t waste time procrastinating any more. Tis time to get the tasks done at hand. And the quicker we learn product creation such as creating videos, audios etc, the quicker we move forward!

Hi Jacinta,
Don’t worry it has been 2 months since my last blog post. But this last one has been in the making so hope it makes up for it.
Good to see you are starting to use Camtasia, I have the cheaper FREE and less feature version Jing. Which is ok but annoying as you can only record 5 min.
I have only just used my copy of EVP2 which I bought at the end of last year, so dusted it off and used it in my last blog post.
So a quick vid to help with something eeeeeerrrrmmmmmm!
Might have to come back to you on that one, but thanks for the offer and someone looking for some help will surely benefit.

I haven’t used the Jing version yet. I should do that and find out about other options for a future blog post I have in mind.
I haven’t looked at EVP yet. I think I need to get a little more advanced on the actual making of the videos sides of things first. I think I will just upload to youtube for the moment.
2 months in between a blog post. OK I don’t feel so bad. I have made myself a promise I will post at least once a month.
I have been pretty focused at the moment and limited for time so scheduling blogging has been hard. My little one is home more at the moment and by the time I sit down at night on the computer my brain is mush.
Fingers crossed I will get better at time management soon! lol

Hi Jacinta, I think your excuse for not posting is quite acceptable! Good for you for getting the videos sorted.
So a question from me would be I want to send a series of emails via Aweber that I want people to pay for in advance. How do I add a paypal button to the sales page that will link to the Aweber list?

Hi Jacinta, to make the button follow onto the list: when creating the details for the button on Paypal there’s a section that asks where to send the person upon completion of payment.
Normally we would enter our Thank you page URL for the customer to download their products. Instead of entering a thank page URL enter that of the list.

Sorry it has been a delay in replying to you. Had school holidays from kinder, my bubba’s 4th birthday and Easter!
Fingers crossed I will get to do Mandy’s & Daniel’s videos over the next week.
I am actually going to change my download page for my spray tanning product over the next few weeks. I am getting so many emails from people not downloading properly and not signing up for the updates list, but then getting angry with me when they haven’t received updates.
I am going to force them to sign up to the list first before receiving their downloads just so I know I can communicate with them effectively and they get all the instructions.
Tis driving me nuts. Plus no matter how clearly I state it is an ebook I still get emails from people expecting a physical book. Some don’t even know how to click a download link!
Going to create some Camtasia’s to put on my Thank you page to show them how!
I see I have another comment from you. COOL!

Hi Jacinta, sorry to hear that your little one has been unwell. I know how hard it is when the little ones are suffering, it’s a time when we just can’t ease their pain. I do hope that she’s better now.
I hope that you and your mum spent all the time you had together smiling, laughing and making happy memories, pictures and all. I know you lost all your family photos some time back
In my book Family always come first and I know that you’re of the same opinion my friend so do what you have to do
Onto your videos: Two birds with one stone, purrrrrreeeeee brilliance!! Another fantastic BIMBO moment. By the way Jacinta, when I tweet your posts I’m going to be adding #BIMBO is that ok? I’ve just sent one but thought i’d check as the last thing i want to do is cause offence in any way.
For the mic issue i will say move it away from your mouth, like Daniel said, I have mine nearer to my nose than mouth.
I use camstudio pro and am finding the lack of an editing facility a bit of a mare, especially when i get a blank spot and start errr ummming. Can you edit camtasia and is it easy to do?

Re editing in Camtasia, that is my next phase to learn. At the moment I have just learned to record and produce.
I am a work in progress!

I am using my spray tanning blog as my guinea pig!

Hi Jacinta, that’s a good point. I just checked #BIMBO on twitter and most of the tweets that use it are in spanish, so you may have a valid point
#OLBIMBO produced zero results and
#IMBIMBO had some results but none were with the hash tag
Let me know your thoughts Jacinta and I’ll go with that my friend.

What an excellent idea! This is a brilliant way of making a commitment to people which in turn forces you to get it done, learning in the process.
I think getting some mastery of on screen video can make a vast difference to your posts (and squeeze pages etc.)
My sympathy to your bubba. I had a helluva time with my tonsils. Mind you, it was about 100 years ago when they strapped you to the table.
4th Birthday? Embrace it, and every day. I have a 6, 9 and 11 year old daughters.
I clearly remember walking round our (then new) large garden ponds with a tiny new ‘sugar bag’ in my arms. A wonderful memory. The time passes so quickly.
Bimbo. Brilliant Intelligent Mother and Bubba Organisation. (Could replace Brilliant with Beautiful, still applies).

3 girls! OMG you are going to go nuts once they hit teenage years.
I agree on time passing so quickly. My hubby and I have been together 10 years this year and we keep looking at each other wondering where the years are going.
It seems like only yesterday we were pregnant and yet my bubba is already half my height. She is going to be tall!
Not sure when my first video post will be, but it is on the agenda!
