Internet Marketing Seminar Overload!
Hello All,
A very quick post to let you know I am information overloaded, over whelmed and excited all at the same time!
I just spent the last 3 days at a really awesome seminar on internet marketing called Dream Life presented by the guys that run the World Internet Summit Seminars. I saw 11 amazing speakers including Brett McFall, Tom Hua, Sean Roach, Raymond Aaron, Ewan Chia, James Schramko, Adam Ginsberg, Alok Jain, Steven Essa, Christopher Guerriero, Dr Mike Woo-Ming and Brian Kozobucki.
All speakers were excellent, all sharing their knowledge and teaching us everything about setting up a business online and the power of an internet business.
Yes! Each speaker did have a coaching program to sell at the end of their training, however No, I did not buy one. Right now in my life I do not have the time to dedicate to one of these programs due to family and life commitments, truthfully I wish I did
as it would definitely speed up the process of learning what I need to learn.
If you do have the time and money to dedicate to a mentor I do highly recommend it. I do hope that I will be in this position over the next 12 months, however at this stage I am just going to keep plodding along, learning and developing the way I am. As one of the trainers would say…..“I am doing this the long way!”
So….Now to the point of this post.
I have decided to write a series on the Internet Marketers I have seen and give you access to the notes I have written and what I have learned from attending these seminars over the last 3 years.
I have seen nearly 30 different speakers from actually attending these seminars in person as well as watching some of the seminars online. Speakers like the ones I have mentioned above as well as Debra Thompson, Matt and Amanda Clarkson, Matt Bacak, Nikhil Parekh, Barnaby De Palma, Scott Letourneau, Steven Pierce, Mike Filsaime, and many more.
This will be a really big series and will take some time to put together but I do think the information is very relevant and important to share.
Some of you may not live in an area where you can afford to attend these types of seminars, and some of you may not actually have the time to dedicate to going to the seminars, so this will be my way of sharing to you.
I am looking forward to writing this series for you but right now I have to go and play with a little one. She has been babysat all week end while I was attending the seminar and now she wants mummy time.
So until next time………

Hi Jacinta
It sounds like you have a big project on your hands, I wish you luck with it and I look forward to reading it.
First hand experiences are always more interesting because we’ll get to hear what you thought rather than what the speaker wanted you to.
Speak soon
cheers
Steve
Hi Steve,
Yes I think I have given myself a big task
but one I think will really benefit people. I do agree with you that first hand experience and opinions are good. I have been to 3 physical seminars in person and have had access to 3-4 seminars online so there is a lot of notes to sift through.
I have learnt heaps from watching them, each speaker has taught their own golden nuggets (Ed Dales words
) and I thought it would be good to share for those that don’t have the opportunity to go themselves.
I will keep you posted…
Jacinta
Hi Jacinta,
WOW,you`re so lucky bet that was an experience you`ll never forget, and like you mentioned in your comment on my blogpost on the seminar, video in all forms is the future of online marketing for sure!
PS The plug-in on my blog is a Gravatar and can be aquired by signing up here http://en.gravatar.com/, watch the video too!
Take care….Ed.
Hi Ed,
Thank you so much for the link to gravatar. I created my picture on there but didn’t know how to get the plug in for wordpress. Will check it out. I like seeing the images of the people we are communicating with.
The seminar was fantastic, now I just have to decipher the notes and put the suggestions into action. Video is definitely the future of online marketing. It personalizes everything! I just have to get comfortable with the idea of being on camera!
I was never good at drama and public speaking!
Thanks for popping by….

Hi Jacinta,
Thanks for sharing your story. I’m looking forward to reading your series. You are lucky to be in a position to attend so many seminars!
Have a good day,
Gwen

Hi Gwen,
Thanks for popping past. The seminars I have been to have been over the last 3 years. Some of them I have actually watched online. I have been fortunate for 3 of them. I was lucky to have my hubby and mother in law babysit my little one. They know how important my learning is for our future and have been quite supportive of me.
I try to attend a seminar at least once a year if I can. Going to the live events keeps me motivated and helps inspire me to keep moving forward with my learning.
I am looking forward to sharing what I have learned in the series. I just have to decipher the notes into something readable before making posts about each speaker. I have been reading some of my past notes today and they are a bit mumble jumble.
I will keep you posted…
Stay positive and stay focused..
Jacinta

Hi Ann,
The seminar was awesome, really inspiring and motivating. I learnt heaps as well as cemented what I already knew. Writing about the different speakers I have seen will be interesting. I am still deciphering through the notes.
I will keep you posted as to when it starts. I just having to finish a few things on my blog first as well as catch up on watching all of my masterclass and 30Day training.
So much to do and learn….so little time…
Thanks for popping by…
Jacinta
Sounds like this is some project, Jacinta. It’d be great see it pulled together when it’s done.
It’s a shame you’re not in Aus, we’d love to have you at a Geekversity seminar…

Hi Geekversity,
You didn’t read my about me page
I am in Australia!!!
Checked your website out. Sounds like a great program. Maybe I can be a coach for your organisation one day!
Thank you for popping by!
Jacinta
Some big names in this seminar, and certainly I would like to attend one. In my case, I believe a lot in the direct experience of webmasters who are selling to final consumers every day of the year.
