Welcome to Week 21 of John Thornhill’s Internet Marketing Training Masterclass Coaching Program.

Before I begin with this weeks summary I just want to let you know that John will be relaunching his program on the 26th on January. NEXT WEEK! I won’t waffle on any more as I will write a post shortly describing my experiences with the program so with out further comment begin with this weeks tasks…….

Internet Marketing Masterclass Week 21:

Finalize Sales Page Creation

This week of training was basically a rest and review week. We were only sent 1 video to watch covering John’s first draft sales page to his product ‘Profit From PLR’.

During this video John walks us step by step through his sales page that he has created for his product ‘Profit From PLR’ explaining all the steps and points and why he wrote what he wrote.

In the headline a trigger keyword of ‘On Autopilot” has been used. According to John most people that are trying to create a business online love things that can be placed on ‘Autopilot’.

One of the other trigger keyword sentences used is ‘Outdated PLR products………..find on your hard drive’. (PLR = Private Label Products ) This live will definitely relate to most newbies to the internet marketing industry. Most newbies to the industry will find that the first couple of months or years they will have bought product after product and package after package thinking they will get around to doing something with them one day.

I can so relate to this! I have hundreds and hundreds of products waiting for me to do something with them. I am also a member of ‘PLR Monthly’ and ‘Resell Rights Fortune’ so every month I am collecting more products! I do intend on creating future products around several niches I am interested in, however right now my concentration is completing one product and website at a time before moving on to the next!. The whole idea is to learn the process step by step and then wash and rinse and do it again!

Back to training! After the headline, John takes us further through his sales page showing us the body copy, how he introduces his product and also shows us how some of the text he has used is actually from other sales pages he has created previously and he has just copied and adapted accordingly. I guess once we learn what copy writing and trigger words and phrases work for us we will tend to do the same. Doing this will make the process of writing future sales pages faster and easier.

Next John shows us his testimonials, his bullets, guarantee, offer and bonuses. If we are considering using an interview as a bonus we should imaging getting interviewed and create the questions before the interview process. Doing this allows us to be able to promote the answers to some of the questions on the sales page. For example; in this case “How to choose the right PLR product!”

After John has showed us the bonuses, there is the ‘Call to action’ encouraging the visitor to buy and the closing text.

If we look around the internet at most selling products that can be downloaded we will notice that most of them have the same sales letter format formula. The reason for this is because it works!! According to John and Randy this is the best style of sales page.  I have also been learning from ‘Brett McFall’ who is one of Australia’s top copywriters and he promotes this type of sales letter as well. I think the trick is to use the formula as a basis to start with and then adapt the page accordingly to our own product.

Summary:

So in summary to Week 21. Our sales page should now be complete and the next part of our course is creating our download and affiliate pages and actually launching our product on ‘Clickbank’. (I launched mine with Paydotcom. ) We will also be creating an email course to go with our product to act as a lead capture. This will be a freebie service so if a visitor is not yet convinced to buy the product they may sign up for the email course and buy the product down the track.

1. Finish the first draft of our sales page
2. Continue sourcing or creating our bonus products to compliment our ebook if we haven’t done so already
3. Visit the masterclass forum and communicate with fellow class mates
4. Continue to visit fellow student and internet marketers blogs and make comments where appropriate
5. Continue to post to our own blogs

OK so that is Week 21 wrapped up.
