Hello All,

Yes I am being a good girl and catching up with my blog posting. I need to catch up as quick as I can because I really want to start sharing with you what I am learning with my coaching program, 30DC, the seminars I have been to over the last 6 months, books I have read etc etc etc.

So now it is time to let you know what else I have been doing over the last 6 weeks since my hard drive crashed…..

1. My Masterclass Update……

Over the last 6 weeks I have watched from Week 19 to Week 27 (this week) in my Internet Marketing Masterclass Coaching Program. I haven’t done all the exercises yet but at least I have watched the videos and transcribed them so I have notes to refer back to when I actually go to do the exercises.

Transcribing the videos does take time when watching them, but I do find it heaps easier later on. Learning around my 2 year old means I need to stop and start what I am doing a lot so having the transcribed notes makes it a lot easier.

2. My Master Back Up…..

Having my hard drive crash on me twice in the last year has taught me a very expensive yet valuable lesson. Over the last 10 years I have had four different computers and with technology ever changing and growing I found myself with a massive collection of min hard drives from my laptops (I kept the hard drives when the machines failed), plus DVD upon DVD and CD upon CD of back ups upon the back ups upon the back ups!!!!

I have found data dating back to 1997!! So a daunting yet very necessary task needed to be done over the last month for me to remain organised. I went through all of my CD’s, DVD’s, old Hard Drives and made one big giant back up of everything!

This took me weeks and hours upon the hours, but I finally completed the task. I eliminated the duplicates upon the duplicates and set up one master back up held in two places. One on my computer and one on an external hard drive.

Setting this system up has taken me time, however now it is so much easier for me to back up my work. All I have to do is save the files I have been working on to the main back up categorised folders and then copy it over the external hard drive. I haven’t set up any back up software programs yet to do it for me, but at least the manual system is in place at this stage.

Now it is up to me to schedule my back ups and not be complacent with what I am doing. So far I have been a good girl and done a back up every couple of days. Just got to keep it up.

3. The Thirty Day Challenge……….

The thirty day challenge is actually going on at the moment. Over the months of June and July the challenge was in preseason. During preseason we were taught what tools we needed to use and how to use them, such as Twitter, Facebook, Ustream, Firefox, Market Samuri, Social Bookmarking etc etc.

I have started the challenge although I am not too sure what I am doing or how I am going to go with this as well as do everything else I am trying to do. But the one thing I do like about 30DC is that it is FREE, not only that, the people that run the program are awesome. They are so helpful and friendly and really do everything step by step.

The training is available to download all year round so it really doesn’t matter when you do the challenge or how you do it.

Over the last 2 months I have watched all of the preseason videos and done all the set up tasks. I still have to watch all of this weeks videos and start doing the tasks, but at least I have done preseason.

4. PLR And MRR Madness……..

Just Before my hard drive crashed I had actually spent a couple of weeks going through my computer and writing up a database of all of my private label products. Well guess what I lost the database when my hard drive crashed so I had to rewrite it.

Re writing the PLR database didn’t take me quite so long this time as being lucky I had a print out of the original database so all I had to do was copy it and rewrite it again. I also had to update the database with the fresh round of products I have downloaded from Resell Rights Fortune and PLR Monthly.

My intention is to eventually add some of these products to my little online book store I have as well as sell on ebay, but that will happen at a later stage. First thing first is to finish my training coaching programs before doing anything else.

Over the last 6 weeks I have had some really good learning lessons about “Sabotage (Both Physical and Mental), Being Focused and Having Determination!”. I will talk more about these qualities in time, but these are the qualities we need to have and be aware of when we are trying to set up a business online (or any type of study for that matter!) around work and family.

I have learned that I need to believe in myself and believe in the bigger picture. I have also held on to a simple saying my father used to say to me when I was little and struggling with life circumstances…“What doesn’t kill you….Makes you stronger!” He has also said to me recently when I was troubled some time ago “Focus on the task at hand!” and “Focus on what you can control!”

These are the sayings that have kept me going and kept me focused and getting back on track. And one of the other things I have done is clean up and organise my office as well as put a “Goal” board up.

Ooops I must away. I need to collect my little one from occasional care and go back to being a mummy for the afternoon.
