Hello All,

Well I have finally found some time to write my actual first blog post. I set up this blog about a month ago with the intention to start writing and once again life got in the way and took over however after time managing myself a little better I have set aside to write.

I have discovered when you are trying to work from home around your family it can be a little hard. I have learned now the best times are when bubba and husband are asleep!! So lots of insomnia for me!!

Now lets get to the point of this post. I want to give you a run down of how I first started online and how I got to where I am today. Like most people I have been emailing and surfing the net for the last 10 years, however in 2005 I discovered eBay. I had heard about it for a long time but didn’t realize the potential of it until mid 2005.

At the time I was teaching full-time at a local beauty college and was looking to create a part-time business on the side. Prior to teaching at the Beauty College I had spent previous years with a spray tanning business, sales representing for a few spray tanning solution companies and training therapists how to spray tan.

When I started researching eBay I noticed there were not many sellers of Spray Tanning solution and equipment and I realized I could sell them online. I created a “How To Spray Tan Manual” for the system I wanted to sell and put a package together. I was so nervous about buying and selling online.

When I told my friends and family what I wanted to do, they weren’t that encouraging! They kept telling me I would get ripped off and to keep my real job! Some support huh! Story of my life, hence the belief in the underdog and proving everyone wrong!

Time to away I have a little one wanting some lunch so until next time…
