Den 100 Blog Kommentar Challenge er i gang!
Hei alle,
Bare en kjapp post for å introdusere deg til en ny utfordring noen av mine andre Masterclass elevene og jeg har laget bare for moro.
"De 100 bloggkommentarer utfordring"
Ideen om utfordringen er å få 100 individuelle kommentarer på et blogginnlegg.
Ideen ble født fra en bimbo kommentar jeg gjorde på en tråd jeg hadde startet om å oppnå 100 blogginnlegg. Jeg hadde laget en tråd la folk få vite at de kan oppnå 100 blogginnlegg.
Noen få medlemmer gratulerte meg, så jeg laget en bimbo kommentar av "neste utfordring 100 blogg kommentarer på et innlegg". Vel Steve Kong ett av medlemmene mente ideen var god, og da neste jeg kjente en utfordring ble født!
Forrige uke var jeg fange opp på studiet, og denne uken er jeg vanvittig blogge hopping prøver å få 100 personer involvert i en utfordring. Oops på at man! 
(Ikke en dårlig bimbo ide! Jeg komme opp med noen gode når jeg minst venter det! 
)
Vi har startet en tråd i "JT Masterclass Training Forum" for medlemmene til å engasjere seg, og jeg ville også gjerne gjøre dette tilgjengelig for alle å involvere seg og bidra til.
Blogg Nettverksbygging er en utmerket måte å møte nye mennesker, lese nye blogger og lære nye ting, samt forbedre våre nettsider siden rangeringen, trafikk ranking og mest av alt generere tilbake linker.
Ideen om utfordringen er å få 100 personer til å delta. Alle som bidrar er å kommentere på alles blogg, og hvis vi har 100 personer så vi skulle få 100 individuelle kommentarer! Vel det er planen! 
Vi kommer til å kjøre utfordringen ganske mye fra nå til slutten av august.
For å få mest mulig ut av kraft til å motta og gi bloggkommentarer, er det noen plugins du må installere for å få mest mulig ut av denne utfordringen. Disse tilleggene vil hjelpe med nettsteder trafikk og siden rangeringen, samt din rangering for søkeordene.

De plugins å installere er:
CommentLuv = http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/commentluv/
Denne kommentaren vil legge igjen en link tilbake til ditt siste innlegg nederst på kommentaren din som du gjør på en blogg som har "CommentLuv" installert. Denne plugin er kjempebra for å generere ny trafikk og besøkende til nettstedet ditt. De ser blogginnlegget tittelen og tenker "jeg vil sjekke at bloggen ut" Jeg har gjort det mange ganger og møtt noen fantastiske mennesker på vei!
KeywordLuv = http://www.scratch99.com/wordpress-plugin-keywordluv/
Dette programtillegget gjør at kommentatoren til å bruke et anker nøkkelord etter navnet sitt når de fyller ut navn delen på kommentaren skjema og nettstedet vil linke til søkeordet i stedet for navnet ditt. Dette er flott hvis du er målrettet søkeord for nettstedet ditt. Eg Jacinta @ lage en forretningsplan Online.
DoFollow = http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sem-dofollow/
Utmerket plugin for å hjelpe google roboter gjennomgå fra nettsted til nettsted. Alle som etterlater en link i din kommentar delen. Dette vil tillate googlebots å gå fra webområdet ditt til dem og hjelpe til med rangeringen spesielt hvis dette kommer fra en nettside som har en høyere trafikk og siderangering enn deg.

Lar deg abonnere på de nettstedene du har gjort kommentarer på og å se når andre har gjort kommentarer. Lar dine kommentatorer å abonnere på bloggen din innleggene kommentarer side. (Dette innstikket er ikke obligatorisk, bare en god en for folk som kommenterer på bloggen din for å se når du eller andre har svart på kommentaren sin.

Legg til Alle = http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-to-any/
Lar deg sosialt bokmerke innlegget med hva noensinne tjenesten du vil bruke som digg, Twitter, Facebook etc etc. Du kan bruke hvilken som helst annen sosial plugin også.
(Hvis du har en annen sosial plugin allerede at er greit, så lenge folk kan sosial boken merke innlegget ditt som er det viktigste punktet!)
Jeg tror utfordringen er en flott idé, og jeg er virkelig interessert om hvordan lykkes vi kan gjøre det. Det ville være kjempeflott at i kraft av 6 Degrees of Separation at over 100 av oss komme om bord og alle hjelper hverandre.

Fremgangsmåten for å ta mot utfordringen er:
- La meg vite din inn på utfordringen via kommenterer nedenfor.
- Installer plugins som er nevnt for å få maksimal bruk og nytte til utfordring både for deg og de bidrar til utfordringen. (De viktigste for utfordringen er DoFollow, CommentLuv, KeywordLuv og en sosial bokmerking ett av ditt valg.)
- Skriv ditt innlegg på bloggen din at du vil ha de 100 kommentarer på og gjøre det til en "sticky" post for maksimal eksponering. (Vil bo på toppen av blogginnleggene til du har nådd dine 100 kommentarer.) (Oppdatering: Noen mennesker ønsker ikke sin post for å være en klebrig Du trenger ikke hvis du ikke ønsker å As.. lenge jeg har en link til innlegget du ønsker å bidra til å gi til alle andre som er fine! )
- Send meg en link til din "100 kommentaren innlegget" så jeg kan la de andre utfordrerne vet (jeg vil lage en side her for utfordringen slik at alle kan referere til det med en link til de spesielle blogginnlegg for kommentering Oppdater..: Har opprettet bidragsyterne siden her: De 100 bloggkommentar Bidragsytere )
- Kommenter alle medvirkende blogger. (Dette er hele poenget! Jeg vil gå rundt til alles nettsteder i slutten av august for å se om alle har gjort det rette! Hver person Telles kun en gang på sine kommentarer og svar er ikke inkludert i tellingen heller. derfor den virkelige utfordringen er å få 100 mennesker!
) - Sosial bokmerke innlegget du kommenterer! (Du må gjøre dette minst en gang om du bokmerke innlegget via twitter, facebook, snuble over, deilig osv osv. Du må gjøre dette for den virkelige kraften i denne utfordringen til nytte for oss alle.)
- Oppdatering: En av våre bidragsytere to Nguyen har skapt noen fantastiske grafiske knapper som vi kan bruke for utfordringen. Du kan få disse knappene herfra: To Nguyen grafiske knapper
Ideen bak sosiale boken merking alles innlegg, er at ikke bare vil vi få 100 individuelle kommentarer på blogginnlegget av valget vil vi også ha at blogginnlegget sosialt bokmerke av alle som legger igjen en kommentar på det!
Pluss hvis vi får 100 mennesker involvert som vil være 100 tilbake linker fra kommentarene dere legger igjen til ditt nettsted.

Jeg er klar for utfordringen Jacinta! - Telle meg i.
Dette er en god idé, savnet jeg tråden i Masterclass forumet, men vil ta en titt nå. Jeg har ikke fått alle de plug-ins, men kommentaren gjorde meg til å innse jeg trenger dem.
Jeg er bekymret for min 'sticky "post nå. Jeg må komme opp med noe verdifullt for 100 kommentarer.

Hei John,
Avkjøl din på brettet! Jeg har fortsatt ikke skrevet bloggposten min enda, men jeg tror det vil være om blogging!
Jeg skal prøve og få det gjort i de neste 2 dagene.
Tråden i MC forumet er i "Generelt Marketing". Jeg vil opprette en side på her så snart jeg har skrevet mitt innlegg hvor jeg vil liste alle som bidrar med en link til deres blogg.
Ville være kult hvis vi får mer enn 100 mennesker involvert, så vi alle får de 100 kommentarene hver!

Bare en rask spørsmål .... Jeg har opprettet en "gravatar" som nå viser bildet mitt på andre blogger områder, men når jeg svarer på kommentarer på bloggen min stedet bildet forblir blank. Noen ideer / forslag?

Takk for besøke bloggen min. Gratulerer til deg på din 100. kamp i tillegg. Det er flott å se en annen blogger nå et milepæl, og feirer det også. Du kan regne meg inn på denne utfordringen. Jeg har et innlegg i tankene og vil bli pisket den opp snart. Takk også for plugin forslag. Allerede hadde noen få, men jeg kan alltid bruke noen flere.

Hei Jacinta,
Dette høres ut som en mye moro. Jeg har ikke tilgang til forumet, men du sa du skal legge inn alt nødvendig for å delta her.
Jeg har alle plug ins (jeg trengte for å legge til bare én mer til hva jeg allerede har hatt).
Jeg er litt forvirret om punkt 3 i innlegget ditt.
Den klebrige innlegg. Jeg pleide å tenke at en klebrig innlegget er et godt innlegg.
Du nevnte at det skulle bo på toppen av stolpene til beløpet på 100 kommentarer er nådd.
Jeg vet ikke hvordan å holde det på toppen hvis jeg slutter å legge til da.
Jeg har aldri prøvd å gjøre dette før.
Kanskje du kan opplyse meg på dette.
Og ja, jeg er opp til utfordringen. La oss gå for det.

Har hatt en tenker hele klebrige innlegget idé som ble foreslått som en del av det. Hvis folk er ubehagelig med å lage innlegget en klebrig da så lenge jeg har en link til innlegget at de ønsker å motta de 100 kommentarene på tror jeg det ville være OK.
Du kan gjøre ditt innlegg enten via en plugin som heter "Wp Sticky Post" Jeg tror det er det det heter eller det andre alternativet er når du går å publisere innlegget, rett før du klikker på "Publiser umiddelbart" Klikk på 'Rediger' knytte en det vil åpne opp for å vise deg en boks der det står "Hold dette innlegget til The Front Page" Bare sjekk at boksen og når du har dine 100 kommentarer så un-sjekk i boksen og det vil ikke lenger være en "klissete" .
Jeg tror det er lettere alternativ i stedet for plugin.
Også hvis du allerede har en blogg i tankene, hvis du ikke ønsker å skrive en ny en la em beskjed og jeg vil linke til den når jeg oppretter "Blog Kommentar Bidragsytere" side.
Et par personer i forumet var litt stresset på ideen om å skrive et nytt innlegg spesielt for utfordringen, så jeg tenkte på denne ideen, samt å inngå kompromisser og hjelpe hverandre ut.

Jeg har blitt oppfordret alle til å ha sine innlegg klar innen 1. August. På den måten har vi en måned å sakte komme rundt alles blogger for å bidra med en kommentar til.

Hei Vance,
Ingen bekymringer når innlegget ditt er klar. Vi prøvde å ha de fleste menneskers blogginnlegg klare tidlig slik at når det kom til å besøke alles andres blogger du bare ville ha å gjøre et par en dag.
Vi har ikke fått 100 mennesker om bord ennå, så jeg er ganske sikker på mennesker vil bli med i løpet av måneden også.

Hei Jacinta, du elsker en utfordring du ikke ...... Men de er den beste måte å bevege seg fremover.
Utmerket ide! Jeg postet på bloggen min siste uke i håp om å dytte folk inn i å skape innhold til sine blogger, men aldri tenkt på dette. Hva en utmerket idé.
Selvfølgelig er jeg for det, men går jeg inn i sykehus den 30., så du mye vil ha en ekstra 24 timer på meg ha ha.

Hei Alex,
Gå inn i ditt innlegg redigere innstillinger og ved siden av "Publiser umiddelbart" Link eller "Publisert"-linken du skal se en lenke som sier "Edit" Klikk på denne og så bør du se ordene "gjør dette innlegget pinne til forsiden" . Det er den enkleste måten å lage en klebrig.
Noen mennesker er ikke å gjøre sine innlegg en klissete men gir direkte linker til de innleggene.
Sett koblingen i MC forumet også, og jeg skal gjøre en side her innen de neste 24/48 timer som vi alle kan gå til alles nettsteder fra.

Utfordringen startet som en bimbo kommentar jeg gjorde i forumet, og deretter Steve kong løp med ideen og noen få mennesker hoppet på så bratsj vi nå har en 100 blogging kommentar utfordring! Oops på at man!

Hi Gert,
I will add your link to the contributors page now and place a link in the forum as well.
All you need to do now is go visit the contributing blogs on the contributors page and make a comment, check back to the page every couple of days to see if new blogs are added. I will be adding everyone's links as I get them.
Then the idea is that everyone eventually comments on everyone else's blogs and hopefully we have 100 people involved by the end of it and we all have 100 people comment on our posts.
Well that is the crazy concept of the idea anyway. Nothing like creating a little challenge.
I really want this to be successful so I am about to go blog hopping madly and promote the challenge. If you have a list or if you know of people that you think will be interested let them know. The more the merrier!

Welcome aboard the challenge! The forum is actually a private one as part of John Thornhill's coaching program. A few of us were commenting on achieving 100 blog posts and then the idea of the 100 comment challenge was born.
There will be list created on a few contributors blogs so everyone can move around easily plus everyone that joins that isn't in the forum I will be creating a thread inside to let the forum members know.
Let me know when you have your post ready and I will let everyone else know and place it on the contributors page!

To make your post a “sticky” if you want to. When you go to publish your post in the 'Publish Box' you will see the tab where it says 'Publish' and beside that there is a link that says 'Edit'. Click on the edit link and a section should open up where you tick a box that says “Stick this post to the front page”.
If you are using a post you have already published for the challenge, click on the 'Edit' link next to 'Visibility' and the same option will appear.
There is a plugin called 'WP-Sticky” if you want to use that.
Let me know when your post is ready and I will link it through on the contributors page.

I use a plugin called 'WordPress Thread Comment'. It is really easy to install and set up.
It does make it a lot easier to reply to people's comments. You can do it from your admin interface.

Weighing it up, I reckon it's worth risking that for the period of the Challenge, it can be disabled or removed afterwards.

Welcome Aboard the challenge! I do agree that the plugins can leave you open to spammers. I am often going through my spamming folder deleting unworthy comments so to speak.
However what I have noticed since installing the plugins a few months ago is that my traffic has increased with genuine readers as well. There are people out there that will search out DoFollow, CommentLuv and KeywordLuv blogs to read and comment on.
It is a bit of a catch 22!

Having a target/goal is quite often a good motivator and so with 100 individual visitors making a comment as the target we each have some work to do, but it will be worth it.

Glad you are aboard the challenge! Yes I completely agree 100 people is going to be a high target! However I think we can all do it together and encourage more to get involved.

Re your commentluv, to reset your link, just sign up to commentluv and reset it. I know my link played up for a while a couple of times depending on the blogs I visited. Sometimes people don't do the plugin update and that can cause some problems.
Another trick I used to do when my link was playing up was I would write my comment and check the link, if it said “There is a problem with your feed” I would uncheck the box wait about 30 seconds and recheck the box for it to search for the feed again. This used to work. Sometimes your site could be loading slower than the commluv link.

For the first time, realised that there was an arrow after it, my feed hadn't been working correctly a while back so the problem must have been caused then. It seems sort of ok now, just doesn't include my last post for some reason.

Welcome aboard the challenge! No worries on joining late. The reason why we wanted people to join early in the month was to make it easy for the blog hopping!
The earlier people join then they only have to visit a couple of blogs a day to get around to the 100. The later people join the more blog hopping they will have to do!
I will add this post to the contributors page, all you will need to do is add the plugins. Check back every couple of days to the contributors page as I will add people as they join.
We are aiming to get 100 people involved by the end of August so if you know anyone else that wants to have a little fun in a blogging challenge send them our way!

If the challenge is a success I would like to do it again in about 6 months time or so. Who knows it may get bigger and bigger every time!
I just got back from a one day seminar on “Internet Marketing” that I went to today. It was really interesting and full of gold nugget information. It just reinforced to me that what we have learned from JT was well worth doing and we are all on the right path.

I'm so new I don't understand all the plug-ins, etc. My blog is in Tumblr. Do your links to the recommended plug-ins work for Tumblr as well?

Hi Jon,
I am not sure if the plugins would work for 'Tumblr', the plugins are for wordpress blogs mainly so I have no idea on that one!
However if you want in, all I really need from you is a link to your latest blog post so I can add you on to our contributors page.
Once your on the contributors page all you need to do is go around to all the contributing blogs and have a read, meet some new people and make some comments.
There are some amazing people that have joined in this challenge and the feedback I have been getting has been awesome.

Can so relate to being busy. I didn't quite realize what I had started with this challenge. It is developing a mind of its own!

I must say its been great meeting so many new people and getting some great comments. My head is spinning from subscribing to so many lists but it is interesting to see what everyone is up to. As of now I have 51 individual comments, so not a bad effort!
However I think this has grown to something more than just the 100 individual comments. I have been getting some amazing feedback from people telling me they are enjoying the blog hopping process, meeting new people, reading new blogs.
I think it would be awesome if we get 100 contributors. The power of bogging and social networking is amazing!
Re Masterclass: Yes I have been a student of John Thornhill's I did his 16 week coaching program in 2008 and then did masterclass in 2009. This year I have been following along helping the new students in the forum.

You're right the opportunity is here for contributors to build some great relationships through this challenge.
Some people are great at blog hopping as a routine, some only do it spasmodically for various reasons. Lately, i have fallen into the latter category sadly, though this 'challenge' gives me a 2nd chance.

I think most people are realising the power of blog hopping with this challenge and being introduced to people and blogs they normally would not have met.
I try and blog hop once a week if I can or at least once a fortnight to the regular blogs I visit. I also like to find new blogs to visit and i normally do that by blog hopping through the comments left on other blogs.
Some nights I have no idea where I started to how I ended up on some blogs. I have a lot of fun when I go on my blog hopping adventures.
Had better get back to adding some more contributors to the list.

I use a plugin called 'WordPress Threaded Comment” really easy to use and easy to set up. I means I can reply to people's comments straight under them and they can then reply back.
I have noticed an increase in comment discussion since introducing the plugin a couple of months ago.

No it isn't too late to join. As long as you have a blog post ready and have installed the plugins if you can you can join.
The idea is to have 100 on board before the end of August. The earlier people have joined the easier it has been for them as they have only had to visit a couple of blogs a day. The later people join the more blog hopping they have to do to get around to everyone by the end of the challenge.
However in saying that. I still haven't gotten around to everyone yet. I will be blog hopping in my sleep very shortly!

Never mind it wont be the first time I didnt get it
exactly right. So I will start here on your post
and work my way from 1) to 100). I shall start off that way in order to keep on track.
Since signing up last night I already
got 5 comments today. Wow thats as many as I have had for the past year.

I am pleased you are enjoying the blog hopping process. I have been getting a lot of feedback from people really loving it and enjoying the fact that they are meeting new people and being introduced to new blogs.
I think we might just make the 100 which will be absolutely awesome. I still haven't had the chance to start my blog hopping yet. My little one is in playgroup tomorrow so I should be able to start then.
I use a plugin called “WordPress Threaded comment” This allows me to be able to reply to everyone's comments and my reply be placed directly under the commentator. It is a great plugin and really easy to use.

It's taken me a bit to get a post that I felt was worthy of 100 visitors but I finally got it up and running today:

My major problem is installing the plugins! I've tried to install commentLuv – it doesn't show in my list of plugins in the WP Dashboard – but if I try to install it – I get the message that it's installed!! Strange! Any ideas??
I must admit that I've had mega problems with some of the others too. I'm working on them – will this disqualify me? I am trying to get them installed – just having a fight with technology grrrrrr
Anyways – I'll be giving the plugins another go tomorrow/today so I hope that's OK.

Got to LOVE sally for getting behind the challenge. John Thornhill has promoted it on his blog as well as Randy Smith has been contributing as well. It is awesome the amount of positive feedback I have been getting. People have been enjoying meeting new people, reading new blogs they may other wise not have been introduced to and creating new relationships.
I think this has surpassed the whole comment idea now.

No worries on my bimbo idea being a good one!!
The feedback I have been getting has been awesome. Everyone has enjoyed the process so far, meeting new people, reading new blogs etc etc. I think this has been perfect for a few people at the moment. Some have mentioned that this challenge has given them ideas for future blog posts and has really got their creative juices flowing.
Apparently it has helped a few students with their writers block and given some people that real pep they have needed.
Once things started to roll with this I realized it had become a lot more than the comments idea. It is more about networking and meeting people that most people would other wise not have met.
Not sure on the regularity of the event. A few people have mentioned that now. It is a good idea. though and definitely food for thought.
We are up to 75 now!!

Well, I may be four days over the deadline but I have actually reached the finishing line, all 102 blog posts read, commented on and Stumbled.
This has been an amazing journey – a bit more time consuming than I anticipated but that's a testimony to the quality of the blog posts and comments, I lingered far longer on most of them than I'd intended.
Thanks again Jacinta, I'm sure you'll be relieved when it's all done and dusted and you get your life back. It would be nice if we could all keep in touch but I don't suppose you'll feel to eager at the moment to organise a reunion next August

Hi Kathy,
Sometimes the commentluv tracking can be faster than the feed from your website. If the blog post is not picked up and underneath your comment it says 'Error” just uncheck the box, wait 30 seconds and re check the box before submitting your comment. This will often reset the feed.
You could also sign up to the 'comluv' website and submit your website there. Once I did that I haven't had problems with my feed.
Good to hear that you are having fun with the challenge. The feedback I have been getting is that it has been a success so far and everyone has been enjoying meeting everyone.
Who knows, this may become a yearly event!

I think my name has a Spanish background, meaning “purple flower” from “Hycinth”. It was my mothers favourite name when I was born.
I still have to get around to everyone's blogs and have a read. I have been busy processing everyone. The response has been awesome, and even if we don't get the 100 sign ups I still class this challenge as a success.

First you need to pick a post on your blog that you want to contribute to the challenge.
If you want it could be your most recent post “How to write an ebook that is included in the best seller list” That sounds like a great article to contribute!
Next install the plugins that are mentioned in my blog post above. You may have problems with keywordluv, if you do do not worry about it.
Next give me confirmation of your blog post url link that you want to contribute, and I will list it on the contributors page here:

We have 8 spots left.
Once I have listed your blog on the contributors page then everyone will be able to visit your blog and make comment on your post.
You need to visit everyone's blogs and make comments on their posts as well. That is the whole point of the challenge. That we all visit each others blogs and make comments.
Plus you have to socially book mark the posts as well, either with 'Stumble Upon, Delicious, Digg, Twitter, etc etc etc. you must socially book mark each post you comment on.
The challenge officially ends the 31st of August so the idea is to have visited everyone's blog posts by then so if we have 100 contributors then on the 31st of August we should all have had 100 people make comments on our blog posts as well as socially book mark them.
Re the keywordluv plugin. What are your main keywords to your website? “Article Marketing Tips & Tricks”. That is your slogan. So whenever you visit a site that has 'keywordluv' installed you can write in the name field when you leave a comment, “Fran @ Article Marketing Tips & Tricks”

I came up with a wonderful idea I want to share with you. Since the inception of the 100 comment blog challenge, I have been visiting all the blogs on the list, although I have not been to them all yet, I have been to quite a few.
There are some very helpful and informative blog posts out there from you guys. A lot of various subjects as well. Not just internet marketing. I have seen blogs about dog care, exercise and nutrition, golf, parenting, and many more.
What I have also seen is that all of the bloggers are into helping others succeed online. So I propose the idea of taking the 100 blog comment challenge a step further. Let us all get together and collabarate and put our heads together. How about if we all join forces so everyone benefits and succeeds online?
My idea is to combine say, 10 or more of our blog posts and create an ebook or a free report. Three or four can get together, submit content, add affiliate links for recommended products or links to their own products. Give givewaway rights to the report or ebook, with the stipulation that no changes are made, and then share it with the rest of the 100 blog post challenge bloggers so we can have a product to give away to help build our lists of subscribers.
Just think of the possibilities here. We can all create products together. We can do interviews on skype of the each other. Everyone has talents and abilities that the other does not have. We can use the recording as a stand alone product or a giveaway on a squeeze page. We can make say 20 or 30 products or more and host our own internet marketing giveaway, giving our products away to help others succeed online as well. All the while creating subscriber list of potential customers.
What do you think of this idea? Am I going off the deep end here?
Can something like this work?

Right now I just want to get through the challenge!
Do a post in the forum about this and let everyone else know what you think. It is probably a really good idea for the new students as well as involving previous students.
I think logistically it would be interesting to work out and a little too much for my brain right now,
However definitely food for thought when the challenge officially ends! I want to create a survey of everyone that contributes to find out what they really thought about everything and how it could improve if I was to make this a regular event at the end of the challenge.

We have 93 on board now so hopefully 93 of us do the right thing and all comment on each others blogs so that by the 31st of August we all have at least 93 individual comments on a blog post.
Well that is the plan!
Plus I have made it that everyone is to socially book mark each post as they go! For a bit of social love too!
Not sure on doing this every month. My hubby and bubba already think my hands are glued to my keyboard!
Maybe once every 6 months. I think it really depends on the end results of this challenge and whether it is completely successful. I will know on September 1st!
Good to hear you like the idea of the challenge, I have had some amazing feedback from people about meeting new people and visiting blogs they normally would not have found etc. It has been a buzz as well as a humbling experience, considering we came up with the idea from a comment I made in our training forum.

well, you have inspired a few (93 so far!) people to take part for which many congrats and congrats to all participants too as it is quite an exercise to fit in around 'normal' daily schedules, isn't it?
My hope is that even after the challenge is finished we will have established a routine, if you like, of visiting a certain number of blogs a day (a week?) to make comments and so KEEP THE MOMENTUM going, build on new friendships etc and links with like minded people to further our online and off-line activities to mutual gain?
Not to mention the stimulus to making more regular blog posts!!!!!!!!1
Maybe a bit idealistic but could be worthwhile for all concerned?

This looks pretty exciting. How does a body get involved if they don't really have a personal blog up as of yet? I have a couple or three but they are all commercial in nature.
If one of those is acceptable I will set it up as it does have posts, but only directed to the blog at hand.

I just came by to see how many people are in this challenge. You are almost there and the number of comments you've got is now well over 100 even if you don't count your own.
I think that nobody can catch up with you so give yourself a big celebration.

We have 97!! Woo Hoo Happy Dance! Nearly There!
I officially have 85 individual comments. Only each person is counted once and my replies are not counted at all.
As soon as we have the 100 on board which will hopefully be in the next couple of days I am going to start motivating everyone to complete the challenge and visit each others blogs.
The idea is for us all to achieve the amount of individual comments together. EG if we have 97 contributors then by the 31st of August we should all have had at least 96 people comment on our blog posts.

Hi Justin,
Your rss feed is normally something like 'yourdomian.com/feed' or 'yourdomain.com/rss'. It depends on the website.
I think you have submitted it correct as your link is showing up properly and it is showing up that you are a member of 'Comluv' so I wouldn't worry about it.

I use a plugin called “WP-Sticky”, However you don't have to make the post a sticky if you don't want to. All I need is a link to your blog post that you want to contribute and I will place that link onto the contributors page here:

The challenge now for me is to make sure everyone goes around and blog hops before then end of August. As long as everyone comments on all the contributors blogs everyone should have the 98 individual comments assuming no one else joins.

I've only just started with Alex's coaching and I picked up this link in the forum.
How do I become a part of the 100 comment club? I know I may be a little late at starting the challenge but would relish the opportunity to rise to the challenge.
I have added the plugins that you recommended (all except the keywordluv as I don't seem to be able to get a link to that one) the plugins are great so for that information alone I am immensely grateful.

Well you certainly started something, didn't you? What a brilliant idea!!!! Congratulations on getting so, so many people off their buts and doing something (me included). It has been so much fun, I love going to other peoples blogs, reading the posts, reading the comments and leaving a comment. The added bonus is that people are coming to my blog and leaving comments as well (as you say Happy Dance). The only problem that I have is that I am taking so much time reading everything that I am running out of month to get to everyone's blog to leave a comment. The idea is for us all to succeed and if one or 2 slow down then we all won't receive the comments by the end of August! Which means the challenge won't be the success for everyone that it is meant to be.
Please Please Please stay focused!!
This is important for the success for everyone. I know it is time consuming. I didn't realise the level, however it is so worth it!
Try to honour the challenge as best as you can remember we are all counting on each other to succeed, we all need to do the right thing by each other.
I have had a few people inquire to join since the final ones joined and I have said no because we have our group now.

Cool! Keep up the commenting! I am really hoping everyone honours the commitment to the challenge. I know this is time consuming. I just really want it to work for everyone and all before the end of August!
I have had to turn 3 people away now in order to honour the members that have joined. I feel really bad doing that however if more people join then I don't know how it will work. Am a bit confused on that one.
I am in the middle of transcribing some audios over the next 2 days and then it is all about blog hopping and checking up everyone is doing the right thing.

Thanks for kicking this off. I've got a very busy life just now, and will be launching an inexpensive, newbie “get your list going” site in 12 short days. So it will be 2 or 3 days before I can follow your instructions here, add the necessary plugins – and did I see something about VISITING all these other blogs?

I don't think I realised the work load this little actually BIG challenge was going to take up!
As you know phase 1 is over we are on to phase 2 which is making sure everyone comments on everyone's blogs. I have started my blog hopping process tonight!
I had to finish @750 “$%^&” audio transcriptions before I could start hoping. They were due to be finished today. I just made it!

Boy can I relate to the writers cramp!
Now that we have our contributors I am finally heading around to everyone's blogs to have a read as well as check on how people are going.
I have 92 more blogs to go!
This has been a really interesting idea and journey. I am really hoping everyone honours the challenge and does comment on everyone's blogs as well as socially book marks them.
I have already noticed people's Alexa rankings dropping. Mine has hit the peak in drop it is now starting to balance itself out. It dropped over 120,000, not a bad result!
I will be interested to see what happens with everyone's page ranks when google does it's change again.

Yes we have 102 contributors! It could have been more, however I had to close the entrants in order to give us all a fair chance to blog hop and complete the challenge together.

I completely agree this has been one big exercise. I think my butt has a permanent cushion mark from my seat and my fingers have been glued to the keyboard with toothpicks holding up my eyes!
I think next time we should make the challenge last a little longer in order for it not to get in the way of our normal life and work commitments as well as not feeling so pressured.
I hope everyone does the right thing by everyone and comments on everyone's blogs as soon as they can. I will be interested to see the results by the first week of September that is for sure!

Woo Hoo Happy Dance!!
Success!! I have just received 100 individual comments on a blog post!
The idea was to get 100 different people comment on a blog post. Well that was the bimbo comment I said!
Then the idea progressed if we got 101 people involved and committed to comment on each others blogs then we would all get 100 comments on a blog post together.
Hence the 100 blog post comments challenge was born!
We have 102 contributors. We could have had more, however I had to close entrants off in order to give the challenge a chance of success.
It is a lot of work to go visit 100 blogs, have a read and give good quality blog comments that contribute to a conversation.
I don't think we realised the level of commitment and time involved when we started this. My hubby and bubba think my fingers are glued to the keyboard!
This has been time consuming, however so well worth it. Seeing 100 people come together is awesome. especially when we have no money to gain from doing this. It has become more about building relationships and networking and developing a growing community.
I think we will be doing this again next year, although I think it will need to run a little longer than a month inorder to give everyone a fair chance to get around to everyone's blogs with out interupting their normal work loads.

Nope can't un-glue them yet! I still have 65 blogs to go visit and comment on all before the 31st of August as part of my commitment to 101 people getting involved in this challenge.
It has definitely been a learning curve and I think next time we do the challenge it will be a lot better organised!
This one was put together in a bit of a rush and truthfully when I wrote this post on the 25th of July I really didn't believe it was going to generate the interest it did.
Phase 1 is complete 102 contributors.
Phase 2 is complete for me, I have achieved the 100 individual comments,
Now for Phase 3. I have to blog hop my way around all the contributors blogs by the weekend and check on how everyone's blog commenting is going! Oops på at man!
Speaking of which I had better get back to blog hopping!

It's a 3 phase process and they always work well according to the underpants gnomes…

I think the challenge has done exactly what you have said! Originally it was about seeing if I could get 100 different people comment on a blog post, however now I realise it has been more about a bunch of people wanting to join together and create a little community all helping each other.

I guess I missed out on all the fun. What I don't understand is why do you say you made a “bimbo comment”? I'm still trying to figure that one out.
It would have been interesting to see what the response would have been on the subject of what happens when exposed to reactive hazardous chemicals on a daily bases for over 40 years. Drip, Drip, Drip.
