Hello Fellow Newbie Internet Business People,

It is already February of 2009. The year is already moving along! OK so I finally posted the rest of my online beginnings story. At the time I felt like I was writing a biography, although I do feel it is important for you to know that I am beginning from the beginning! I am a complete newbie to all of this and am fumbling my way along just like you.

So to let you know what I have been doing the last couple of months (other than the Christmas silly season) since starting this blog. I have been slowly working through John Thornhill’s Personal Coaching Program, and to tell you the truth I am only about three quarters of the way through it.

Well as of this week John has started his new Marketing Masterclass Coaching Program. And as my luck has it I have been fortunate enough to get a place in this program so I have decided to write about it in detail as I do it so you can learn as I do.

John’s personal coaching program is a 16 week course but his new masterclass program is 36 weeks, that’s 9 months of personal tuition. I am definitely looking forward to this! I still haven’t completed the 16 week one so this is going to be fun….anyway moving along….

This week is the beginning of week one. We officially started the program on Monday, luckily for me this weeks videos are similar to the first week of his personal program so I have found them to be easy so far. John’s style of coaching is very easy to understand. He takes you through each step individually and explains things in absolute detail. You get the why and the how for doing things as he shows you how to do things as he does them.

I like the fact that he assumes you are a complete newbie to working with computers and working online. The videos are easy to follow and I like the fact that I can download them for my viewing in my own time and not have to be on the Internet at the same time.

Doing all of this around raising my 2 year old can be time consuming and I find I am often stopping and starting regularly. Anyone who is reading this and is an at home mum or dad will understand what I am talking about.

The best time to get any work done around your child is when they are sleeping!!! And 2 year olds don’t sleep for very long! I have tried many times to put “The Wiggles” on and sneak to the computer, but sure enough she finds me and tries to hog the computer herself or screams wanting mummy time!!!

Getting back to the coaching program, I don’t have a lot of time as she is asleep now and I should avoid getting side tracked! OK, so my intention now is to teach you as I learn about this whole Internet marketing ball game, creating products, being an affiliate, building websites, learning software, finding traffic etc etc etc and in my next post I will explain what we have learnt so far in week 1 of my coaching. So basically as I am being coached, you are being coached, pretty cool huh!!

Now I am going to head off and watch the videos, do the exercises and come back and tell you about it all.
